Article Marketing:
The process of writing VALUABLE information on a topic that you have chosen to ANSWER a certain problem within that topic.
After you have chosen your niche and keywords you can go ahead and start writing an article based on those keywords.
The main keyword you have chosen should also be included in the title and once every 100 words... not more then 3 times every 100 words because then the "keyword density" for that keyword is too high and therefore might get rejected by some article sites.
Sprinkle in a good 5-8 other keywords you have found in the article and when you get to the "tags" part of the article submission put in those keywords (Main one goes first)

Also put the main keyword in the website name if you have that option (Squidoo)(Blogger)
MAKE THE TITLE CATCHY so that people click on it and it draws attention. Two examples:

Blogging Can Make Money Appear In Your Bank Account (a little bit more catchy)
Another Example:
Blogging Can Make Money - Becoming Financially Free (addresses a great WANT (financial freedom)

Well when you give people VALUE and great information that they can use they might click the link that you placed in "resource box".
Oh what? We can link back to somewhere else? Yep.... And guess what? It can also be a sales page :).
Now if you did give those people value and information that solved a problem of theirs then they will most likely click on the link you put in your resource box (Only place links are allowed on most article sites).
Your resource box is quite important and means a lot, it has to be written correctly and has to have a call to action.
Something like:
"Even though making money online with article marketing is great and easy, YOU can make so much more money if you work with Pay Per Click marketing because this allows you to get to a bigger audience quicker, to learn more about Pay Per Click check out Pay Per Click At It's Best"

(Along those lines, ALWAYS remember that you have to think about THEIR problems and how to fix THEIR problems, don't talk about yourself, the reader only cares about how you can help them not about who you are)

To create an anchor text there are generally 2 ways to do it. One way is to type in this code:

Put in the website you want the people to go to in the website URL area, and the Text you want people to see to be able to click on as the Text You Want Shown (Pay Per Click At It's Best in this case).
The other way is the anchor text button that most article sites have. This allows you to simply write the text you want to be clicked on and highlight it then click on the Little Chain icon. (Or world with chain around it)
Then you input the URL that you want them to be redirected to.
Never End The Article:
Well how the hell can you make an article never end?
Well that's sort of simple :P Never type "in conclusion" or anything that makes the reader think that you are done giving them information.
The ending of the article should make them pay more attention to the resource box.
Something like:
"Article marketing is a great and wonderful way to start becoming financially free and having money roll into your account consistently and only having to do the work once, however to do this you have to work at it and make your article REALLY GOOD, if article marketing sounds daunting because you hate writing and you have money to invest in a campaign that can make your money back within a day then you should try out Pay Per Click marketing"

There are literally thousands if not hundreds of thousands of article submission sites.
I would suggest writing as many articles as you can and submitting them to as many sites as you can. EzineArticles is one of the most famous and most revered article submission site.
When submitting to EzineArticles it will b harder... But if you can submit it to them then it will b submittable to all the other submission sites.
You can submit the same article to all the sites if you want to, however "spinning" them makes it seem less like spamming, because some words will b changed and it will b a different article. For more article sites simply Google "Do follow article websites" (Do follow is important)
